About the brand

Bottero is one of the country’s largest shoe manufacturers. Founded in 1985 by Paulo Victor Kauer, Regis Lauck, Gerson Lauck and Jainy Santos, it has seven manufacturing plants, all located in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, in the cities of Parobé, Santo Antônio da Patrulha, Travesseiro, Osório, Arroio do Meio, São José do Hortência, and Agudo. With almost four thousand employees, the company produces 45 thousand pairs of shoes per day. In 2011, the production volume at Bottero reached seven million pairs. All made from the detailed research work developed by brand’s team of designers who travel abroad to accompany fashion shows and fairs, as well as to Brazil’s interior, to identify regionalisms and new materials. The result of this work is new creative styling from which hundreds of prototypes are developed. Arriving at the production line are only those models that satisfy the company’s objectives, which is to offer footwear that combine design, comfort and quality in the same product. The shoes produced by Bottero are sold in more than five thousand points of sale in Brazil, as well as being exported to 37 countries in Latin America, Central America, North America, Africa, Europe and the Middle East (Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, French Guyana, Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Canada, the United States, South Africa, Mozambique, Mauritius, Spain, Portugal, England, Hungary, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Finland, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait).
